1. Our commitment

Glosome World exists to serve children - through Glosome TV, Glosome Nursery Rhymes, and Glosome Books. The protection of children's privacy is therefore one of our most serious responsibilities. This Children's Privacy Policy complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the UK Children's Code, Nigeria's Child Rights Act, and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.

Core commitment: We do not knowingly collect any personal information directly from children under the age of 13. Every data collection point on GlosomeWorld.com, our newsletter form and our contact form is directed at parents and guardians only.

2. Glosome TV and Glosome Nursery Rhymes on YouTube

Both of our YouTube channels - Glosome TV (for children ages 4 and up) and Glosome Nursery Rhymes (for babies and toddlers ages 0 to 4), are designated as content made for children in accordance with YouTube's policies and COPPA requirements. This means personalised advertising is automatically disabled on every video across both channels.

YouTube Kids. We recommend that parents access both channels through the YouTube Kids app, which offers additional safety features including parental controls, content filtering, and a child-friendly interface.

Comments and interaction. Comments are disabled in line with YouTube's policies for children's content. We encourage parents to supervise their children's use of YouTube and YouTube Kids at all times.

Embedded videos on our website. When our YouTube channels are embedded on GlosomeWorld.com, the same children's content protections apply. We do not add any additional tracking to these embeds beyond what YouTube itself provides.

3. Glosome Books

Glosome Books titles (such as devotionals, picture books, and activity books) are sold through Selar, Gumroad, and Amazon. All purchases including any made on behalf of a child, are made by a parent or guardian, and all payment and order information is handled entirely by those platforms under their own privacy policies. We do not collect any information about the children these books are intended for.

4. Instructions for parents

All newsletter signups and contact form submissions on GlosomeWorld.com must be completed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. By submitting a form, you confirm that you are an adult and that all information you provide is your own.

Please do not enter your child's information into any form on GlosomeWorld.com. The "first name" field in our newsletter signup is for the parent's or guardian's name only. Do not use your child's name or email address anywhere on our website.

If a child has submitted information. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through any form on GlosomeWorld.com, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and delete any such information within 14 days of your report.

5. Our safe content commitment

Every piece of content produced by Glosome World, across Glosome TV, Glosome Nursery Rhymes, and Glosome Books is created and reviewed against the following standards before publication:

• Age-appropriate - Glosome TV content suits children ages 4 to 12; Glosome Nursery Rhymes content is designed specifically for babies and toddlers ages 0 to 4. Nothing is included that would be inappropriate for these age groups.

• Ad-free - both YouTube channels are designated as children's content, with personalised advertising disabled in compliance with COPPA.

• Fear-free - we never use fear, shame, or guilt in our content. Everything is identity-first and grace-rooted, for children and parents alike.

• No external links in videos - our YouTube videos do not include end-screen links or cards directing children to external websites outside our own channels.
